Some bring pallets by car so the women and children won’t have to sleep on the bare ground. We’re a loose-knit group: some of us are from NGOs, others help out as private individuals. I’m a member of the Grand Initiative, which is run by people who care about the fate of Romani families from Ukraine. And I ask myself the same questions first thing in the morning whilst brushing my teeth, packing some sweets and a few toys for the children in my knapsack and setting off for the main station, where I’ll try to help these people cope with the situation and find out more about them. Why are they here? What do they want? To escape the horrors of war or are they here just for the welfare benefits? These are the questions everyone who’s met them over the past few months has had to ask themselves. Women with children, big families – they simply picked up and left, just like that, with nothing. They congregate here at big train stations. As soon as my alarm clock rings, I reach for the phone to check the news: How many new arrivals today? Do they have anything to eat? Who can deliver lunch today? Have they got a place to sleep? Who will sort through and bring sanitary products and things for the children? They need medication, can somebody take care of that? It looks like there are cries for help, but reality is that most people, especially those in power, steer clear of this issue. It’s been the hardest time of day ever since the war started. If those attacks do get boosted, that would explain the Dark Moon's beams as well.It’s morning. One thing I wasn't able to test is if the shards increase the damage of the wind attacks that the Serpent-hunter gets during Rykard's boss fight. The Dark Moon Greatsword is consistent with the others in this case. If a weapon art gives your weapon an element buff, that doesn't get increased either, so Sacred blade (the initial beam does get boosted) and the like.

The Dark Moon Greatsword's damage buff doesn't get increased but the beam attacks after you buff it with its skill are actually affected by the shards. If a weapon has a 'buff'-type skill which changes one of your moves, like War Cry/Shriek of Milos/etc., then the shard doesn't increase the strength of the buffed attack, usually your heavy attack. Follow-up attacks from a weapon art, be it from a stance, an attack or whatever else you may have, are boosted as long as it directly chains from the weapon art. Direct damage skills get boosted, stuff like debuffs don't. Some extra info I gleamed: The talismans generally work as you'd expect. Moonveil's Unsheathe>light attack went from 1219 damage to 1340 with the warrior shard and 1402 with Alexander's shard. The normal warrior jar shard boosts skills by about 10%. Shard of Alexander seems to boost the damage of skills by 15%.

I can't seem to post on Fextralife so feel free to post my observations there so that it can be more thoroughly double-checked and tested. I just tested out the Warrior jar shard and Shard of Alexander with a couple of weapons.
